Protocol for the Protection of Minors and Vulnerable Adults of Fahy Club Civil Association

Introduction

Fahy Club Civil Association is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all its members, especially minors and vulnerable adults. This protocol aims to establish the necessary measures to prevent and respond to situations of abuse, mistreatment, or exploitation that may occur within the club.

Objectives

  • Protect the integrity and well-being of minors and vulnerable adults who participate in the club’s activities.
  • Prevent situations of abuse, mistreatment, or exploitation within the club.
  • Establish clear procedures for detecting and responding to situations of risk or abuse.

Definitions

Minor: Person under 18 years of age.

Vulnerable adult: Person over 18 years of age who, due to their physical, mental, or emotional situation, requires additional protection and support.

Principles

  • The best interests of the minor and vulnerable adult will be the primary consideration in all decisions and actions of the club.
  • Confidentiality and respect for the privacy of individuals involved in situations of risk or abuse will be guaranteed.
  • A safe and respectful environment will be promoted within the Fahy Club.

Procedures

  1. Selection and training of personnel:
  • All club personnel working with minors or vulnerable adults must undergo a rigorous selection process, including background checks and personal references.

2. Supervision and monitoring:

  • A person responsible for the protection of minors and vulnerable adults will be designated in the club, who will be in charge of supervising and monitoring activities and situations involving minors and vulnerable adults.
  • Regular checks will be carried out to ensure that established procedures are followed.

3. Reporting and response:

  • A clear procedure will be established for reporting situations of risk or abuse, which includes confidentiality and respect for the privacy of individuals involved.
  • Fahy Club will respond immediately and effectively to any report or situation of risk or abuse that occurs.

4. Collaboration with authorities:

  • All necessary information will be provided for the investigation and follow-up of cases.
  • Fahy Club will collaborate with competent authorities in cases of situations of risk or abuse that require external intervention.

Protection Measures

  • Additional protection measures will be implemented for minors and vulnerable adults, such as:
  • Limited access to specific areas of the club.
  • Constant supervision during activities.

Review and update

The protocol will be reviewed and updated regularly to ensure it remains effective and relevant.

Audits and evaluations will be carried out to determine the effectiveness of the protocol and identify areas for improvement.

Dissemination and training

The protocol will be disseminated to all club personnel, members, and users, and can be found on our website in the legal section.

Regular training will be provided on the protocol and its procedures.
